Ms. Bright is a 7th grade Language Arts teacher at Stillwater Middle School. She has just completed her first year at SMS, but she has been teaching middle school students for 13 years. Previously, she taught 8th grade Reading, English, and Accelerated English in Ponca City.
Ms. Bright graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science with emphasis in Reading and Literacy education. She is a certified Reading Specialist, and she holds National Board Certification in the area of English Language Arts - Early Adolescence (ages 11-15). This is Ms. Bright's third Fund For Teachers fellowship, and she is grateful for another opportunity to travel and learn about other places in the world!
