Ms. Blair has just completed her first year as a Reading Specialist at Highland Park Elementary in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Previously, she taught for many years in Ponca City, as a classroom teacher and Reading Specialist. Her teaching career began 16 years ago in California, where she was born and raised.
Ms. Blair earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and a certificate in Diversified Liberal Arts, at the University of California at Los Angeles. She went on to California State University at Fullerton to earn her teaching certification. Through Oklahoma State University she earned a Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Reading and Literacy education. Ms. Blair is a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Early-Middle Child English Language Arts. This is her third Fund For Teachers Fellowship, and she is excited to integrate her travel experiences into her curriculum while creating an exciting atmosphere for her students.
